Novation SL25 + iPod

After being very impressed by the ipod software TouchOSC , I decided I needed a way to integrate into my live setup, without it looking like some tinky ipod controller.

So I ripped out 4 keys from my Novation SL25 keyboard and it extended the functionality of an already very useful keyboard. The best part is its completely reversible, the keys simply click back into place.

This video went somewhat viral when I posted it on youtube, being featured on over 20 sites and being viewed close to 25,000 times.

My first modification was a pretty simple one, but very effective. Rip some keys out, slide an ipod in, and voila, instant keyboard mod.
