For You

Originally shot in 2001 and then taking 4 years to edit, For You is at its core is a love story. Written and directed by Giv Parvaneh, my role in the project was post production manager. I edited the film in conjunction with the director, as well as co-produced the score and sound design. I also was responsible for the title sequences, design and DVD authoring.

The DVD version of this film was in many ways was the highlight of this project, with language translations in Cambodian, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Turkish and Polish. There was also a directors commentary, a behind the scenes video, which was twice the length of the actual film, and a deleted scene.

At its core it’s a love triangle, well of sorts. For You was the first short I worked on. It was Written and Directed by Giv Parvaneh in 2001.

Tuesday was a slightly more ambitious project than our previous short, For You. With actual aspiring actors and more than a single line of dialogue.

Probably more suited to a Museum multimedia exhibit than a small screen, the Story of Bremerhaven was an exercise in production and treatment techniques.
